Itavio is hiring to further our mobile application development and work build upon our existing SDKs.

Job Description

As a Mobile Application Developer, you will drive technical design of our mobile application using the Xamarin framework. You have to be hands on developer with leadership qualities. You are passionate about taking user interface designs and bringing them to life with clean and elegant code. You keep on top of the leading edge of mobile technologies, and development standards while being able to develop great customer facing products. You are creative, focused, results-oriented, and are a resourceful problem solver. You thrive when working at a rapid pace in a creative environment. 

• Program user interfaces for our mobile applications using the Xamarin framework and toolset
• Continually research, test, and implement new techniques, frameworks, and utilities
• Be customer focused and delivering a product that is centered around a great customer experience
• Create mobile applications that will be used by millions
• Create quality code that is maintainable and testable
• Participate in code reviews and trainings
• Collaborate with others
• Help estimate the work effort at different levels (project, story, iteration, release)
• Work in an ever changing and adjustable environment putting your best foot forward, without compromising on quality

Qualifications

• Experience developing Android and/or iOS applications
• Understanding of using Xamarin technology in order to create effective native UI for iOS, Android and Windows phone
• Experience with Agile Methodologies
• Passionate about mobile technologies and coding the right way
• Minimum 2-4 years of C# & .Net experience
• Experience creating apps for iOS & Android
• Experience building graphically intensive UIs, managing multiple view hierarchies, and optimizing UI transitions and performance on mobile devices. 
• Experience with prototyping tools is a plus 
• Experience with Objective C, Swift, Java, Android SDKs, Unity3D, Angular.js is a plus 
• Ability to collaborate with designers and content creators to develop robust and user-friendly interfaces 
• Must be able to clearly communicate technical challenges to business units 
• Must have exceptional attention-to-detail 
• Demonstrate primary programming skills and OOP
• Experience with git
• Preferred exposure of wire formats like JSON, XML
• A good experience communicating for web services (HTTP, REST, SOAP)
• SQLite or comparable local storage frameworks
• Primary knowledge of database design and data structures
